If you don't have any special requirements, steel 718 is the best choice for making distribution box molds. Firstly, this type of steel is relatively cost-effective. Secondly, With proper maintenance of the mold, even if the 718 hardness is only 33-38 HRC, the production capacity can reach millions of mold cycles, which means it can produce millions of distribution box without any problems.

If your production capacity demand is huge, of course, you can choose better and more expensive mold steel (S136 or H13) to make distribution box mold. Although the unit price of the mold is high, the relative production cost of the product will be lower.
